OrbTRAC is ACS' AVL product for fleets of public works and service vehicles. OrbTRAC provides a state-of-the-art, browser-based tracking and management system for state and local government vehicle fleets. OrbTRAC offers customers the most flexible fleet and data management system available today. Using Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite technology, the system tracks the location and status of vehicles and identifies sections of roadways that have been serviced or need attention. OrbTRAC also captures and stores data for post-service analyses to assist in reducing the overall cost of future operations to state and local agencies.
